Brown Bag, Blue Box

I am cheap.

Someone I used to work with attempted to attribute this quality to frugality and at the time I corrected her.  "No, really -  I'm just cheap."

I am.  I don't like to pay for things that I can do / make / accomplish for myself.  Paying, especially doling out excessive amounts, for things I can do myself annoys me.

I work.  You probably do too.
I eat.  I know you do too.

I really love to eat, maybe too much.  What I don't like is overpriced unhealthy food that doesn't really taste good.  (Now, an Indian buffet at the Taj in Tampa on my day off is a completely different story - expensive, yes - unhealthy, possibly - unbearable delicious YES!)

This blog is that love, digitally remastered for your enjoyment. (And that of your tastebud and wallet).  Recipes, suggestions and ideas about lunch - at work - in a bag, in a box - in your mouth - in your wallet - and in your heart.
